  • The first thing you will need is a wash bag. You don’t want to spill the dirty water all on your floor and walls. So, to do it right buy a decent wash bag which is easily available in your nearby store or you can buy it online.
  • Th next tool to buy is a cleaning liquid. You need to buy the right cleaning liquid. Don’t go for a foam solution, as they are a soft solution and might not infiltrate the dirt in your coil and the rotor fan. Also, they can be chaotic to use and clean.
  • Avoid using harsh acids and corrosive liquids for cleaning too, as they can damage the thin coating of a blue colored hydrophilic layer on a new AC. Try to buy a liquid spray which will help in the further steps.
  • Fix the wash bag on the wall below the AC, this way you can forget about your walls and don’t have to dismantle the entire split AC accessories like professionals do.
  • Now start applying the cleaning liquid. Spray the liquid on the slants of the coil. Try to get the liquid as deep as possible. A common way is to place the nozzle as close as possible.
  • Spray on the rotary blades. These blades are hidden in the airflow outlet so you will need a pipe pressure nozzle which could reach the point of all blades.
  • Now wait for 10 to 20 minutes and let the solution attract all the dirt deposits in the coils and blades. Then use a water spray and see all the dirt flush out into the wash bag.
  • To fan out all the remaining water, turn on the AC fan after holding one end of the wash bag in front of the air duct. When there are no more droplets with the blown air remove the other end of the bag and you are good to go.
